The University and Town of Ave Maria fall within the rural lands of Collier County, Florida. In addition to representing the first major Catholic university in 40 years and as the first University and Town to be designed and built together, they also represent the first implementation of an innovative land planning strategy known as Rural Lands Stewardship.
