A: At its projected build-out, Ave Maria will include about 11,000 households on 5,000 acres.

A: Ave Maria has been designed as a fully self-contained, walkable community. Critical services including utilities and public health and safety programs are now in place, along with other daily necessities such as a grocery store, gas station, bank, post office, and neighborhood retail facilities.
A K-12 parochial school opened in the fall of 2007, and land has been granted to the Collier County Schools for elementary and middle schools. Until on-site schools are available, children from Ave Maria will attend Estates Elementary, Corkscrew Middle and Palmetto Ridge High School, located several miles west of the community. As the community grows, so will retail, service, educational, recreational and commercial operations.
