AVE MARIA, FL -- September 9, 2011 - The first collegiate football game in the history of Southwest Florida kicks off on Saturday, September 17 at 12:00 noon when Ave Maria University hosts Birmingham Southern College at the Palmetto Ridge High School field. To celebrate this inaugural event, Ave Maria Town Center welcomes the public to its Football Frenzy post-game party from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.

The post-game tailgate-themed party will be held in the Town Center and will feature DJ Tom, inflatable QB Blitz game, bounce house, corn hole and lawn games, and food and drink specials. Head Football Coach Barry Fagan will greet fans and deliver a post game speech in the Town Center. Local youth players will receive free admission to the game when they wear their local football team jersey.
