Strong home sales and active community association highlight appeal

NAPLES, FL., — May 11, 2020–   Ave Maria Development reports 112 new home sales thus far in 2020 for its award-winning master-planned community located in Southwest Florida. Strong sales are coming from several buyer demographics including families and active adults, both from within Florida and outside the state. New home sales are reported from the community’s four residential home builders— CC Homes, Del Webb, Lennar, and Pulte Homes. As of April 30th, Ave Maria reports a 23% increase in new home sales over the same period in 2019.

“Ave Maria’s strong home sales this year, especially in April, are a positive sign that new home buyers value our hometown charm more than ever,” states Cee Cee Marinelli, director of development for Ave Maria. “Ave Maria offers more than just an appealing lifestyle; it also offers incredible affordability and selection in a variety of new home designs. With so much uncertainty right now, the home has become a haven, and designing a home that functions better is attainable in Ave Maria.”

The town of Ave Maria has been recognized as Collier County’s number-one selling new home community for the past five consecutive years and includes a mix of single-family home builders such as CC Homes, Del Webb, Lennar, and Pulte Homes. The Ave Maria lifestyle includes amenities and open spaces for its homeowners such as a water park, soccer and baseball fields, fitness center, amphitheater, dog park, trails, bocce and tennis courts, Town Center with Publix Supermarket, a commercial center with Mobil gas station, private schools from preschool through university, and on-site free events throughout the year.

Another benefit of living in the master-planned community of Ave Maria is access to the Ave Maria Master Association. The Association has served as a lifeline for residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, organizing safe distancing activities such as virtual happy hours and fitness classes, sidewalk chart art displays, first responder safety appreciation showcase, and drive-by driveway decorating contests.

Carol Diflorio, lifestyle director for Ave Maria Master Association states, “It’s awesome to see how engaged our residents are, especially during this time. We have so much space in Ave Maria with all of our trails, walkways, lakes, and open parks that residents can enjoy their time outdoors.”
