No, you do not need to be Catholic to live in Ave Maria. Ave Maria is a diverse community, and we appreciate people from all walks of life. Residents are from different faiths, different denominations, backgrounds, cultures, etc.

Ave Maria is home to several different churches and our residents practice different faiths. While the term Ave Maria is from Christian origins, we do not promote any religion or faith at our community events, in marketing materials or by-laws of the CDD.

Ave Maria Master Association is responsible for managing and maintaining the resident amenities, resident communication and organizing activities and events for all residents. The Ave Maria Community Stewardship District oversees infrastructure improvements and utility management. Ave Maria Development manages commercial properties, the Welcome Center, and overall development.

Homes and Living

Ave Maria offers a variety of housing options, including condominiums, attached villas, and single-family new homes. These new construction homes feature lake, preserve, and golf course views. Prices range from the high $200s to over $800s, with homes built by renowned builders like CC Homes, Del Webb Naples, Lennar, and Pulte Homes.

Ave Maria is home to all ages. The only age-restricted community is Del Webb Naples for qualifying residents 55+.

There are some public transportation options available, including Collier Area Transit bus services that connect to Naples and other nearby areas.

Safety and Healthcare

Ave Maria maintains a low crime rate and supports residents’ safety with neighborhood watch programs and other security measures. The community is served by Fire Station 32, which acts as the emergency headquarters for eastern Collier County. This facility houses Collier County EMS, the Collier Sheriff’s Office, and both administrative and fire rescue services .

In Ave Maria there are several established medical providers, including Ave Maria Dentistry, Ave Maria Optical, Cadenza Medical Clinic, Mater Dei Clinic, Ave Maria Chiropractic and more including Naples Comprehensive Hospital (NCH) Immediate Care that will open soon. NCH has an Emergency Department 20 minutes away on Collier Blvd and Immokalee Road. In addition, NCH and Physicians Regional both have two Collier County Campuses.
