Ave Maria Master Association Welcomes New Events Director: Jackie Ventura

Events Director Jackie Ventura oversees the AMMA lifestyle team. This summer, Jackie Ventura stepped into the role of Events Director for the Ave Maria Master Association (AMMA), leading the lifestyle team in planning resident-only events throughout the town. From signature gatherings like the Fall Festival and Hometown Christmas to weekly and monthly meetups, Ventura’s work shapes the rhythm of community life and helps residents forge friendships and lasting memories.

With twenty years of experience in hospitality, Ventura has planned everything from weddings and trade shows to corporate events and non-profit fundraisers. “My background across different industries allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge to planning events for all kinds of people,” she said. One of her current focuses is engaging teenagers, a group that often gets overlooked. Upcoming teen-focused activities include a Fortnite Challenge on a mobile gaming truck, alongside summer craft and science camps.

Beyond teen events, Ventura’s team hosts Coffee with a Twiss, new homeowner orientations, and a variety of sports, yoga and pickleball programs. She emphasizes thoughtful planning, aiming to offer something different each month while keeping annual favorites fresh. “We look at how to add a new flare to events every year,” she said. “With amenities like the water park, recreational parks and dog park, Town Center and community room, we can host a wide variety of activities for all ages.”

Ventura encourages residents to explore Ave Maria and take part in events: “If you’re bored here, I’m not doing my job. There’s always something happening.” The community calendar is available online or via the Ave Maria Master Association App.
