Living in Southwest Florida conjures up many images including beaches, sunsets, and beautiful weather. New homeowners in Ave Maria are taking advantage of the sunshine and sunsets when designing outdoor living spaces in their new single-family homes.
Pulte Homes, building in Hampton Village, Emerson Park, and Avalon Park, reports the zero corner sliding glass door is a popular feature this year. “It creates a feeling of bringing the outdoors inside pretty nicely,” states Michael Agins, general sales manager for Pulte Group. He also adds that many Pulte Homes plans offer extended covered lanais which can double the amount of under roof outdoor living space. This gives the home buyers more options for outdoor sitting and dining configurations.
CC Homes, building single-family residences within three neighborhoods in Ave Maria, has noticed a trend in outdoor kitchens and cabanas. Diana Ibarria, senior vice president for the Naples division, comments, “The outdoor cabana complete with bath and shower gives homeowners the convenience of staying outdoors after a swim. No need to track water through your home when you can whip up a sandwich and beverage in your outdoor entertaining area. Then, sit back, relax and watch the big game on a flat-screen television in your covered cabana.”
