NAPLES, FL., — July 22, 2020– The master-planned community of Ave Maria, Florida reports another milestone in new home sales this year with the community surpassing 200 home sales in 2020 so far. This represents a 40% increase over the same period in 2019.
Following a robust May and June, with record setting sales for the new home community in both months, Ave Maria is on track this July to outperform last year as well. Home sales were reported from the four residential builders in Ave Maria— CC Homes, Del Webb Naples, Lennar and Pulte Homes.
“We’ve never seen anything like this,” comments Cee Cee Marinelli, director of development for Ave Maria. “Our foot traffic and website traffic are at record levels with interested buyers coming from all over Florida, especially the east coast, as well as northern and midwestern states. We are quickly surpassing our projections for 2020.”
Builders in Ave Maria quickly responded to the evolving home buying process during the COVID-19 pandemic by offering online virtual tours and presentations, video walk-throughs, and remote access model tours. Sales centers remain open with strict capacity limits and social distancing precautions. The Ave Maria New Home and Welcome Center, often a first stop for many home buyers wanting to learn more about the town and community lifestyle, remains open with similar safety measures in place. Community ambassadors are also available via video chat and are taking appointments to give prospective home buyers a truly personal, one-on-one presentation.
