Ave Maria’s Knights of Lights Brightens the Town Center
This holiday season, the Ave Maria Town Center is transformed into a radiant display of lights and festive scenes. From November 21, 2026 through January 6, 2027 Ave Maria’s Knights of Lights brings the magic of Christmas to the heart of town, with family-friendly fun that’s free and open to everyone.
Knights of Lights is presented in partnership with the Knights of Columbus, and this year’s celebration benefits their mission. The Knights are a service organization built on charity, giving their time and raising funds to help families and neighbors in need. Their councils support local parishes, stock food pantries and soup kitchens through Food for Families and have handed out more than a million new winter coats to children through Coats for Kids. Here at home, the Knights’ Ave Maria council carries that same spirit of giving into our own town.
All through the holidays, the Town Center will be decorated with beautiful light displays for everyone to enjoy. Take an evening stroll through the plaza, snap a holiday photo with the family and soak in the festive spirit of a true small-town Christmas.
Weekend Pop-Up Events & Business Specials
On November 21st is the Christmas Crawl event, organized by our Town Center retail businesses. Shop special promotions starting at noon until dusk. In addition to the light displays, on weekends the Knights of Columbus will host pop-up events in the Town Center, adding to the holiday spirit around town. Ave Maria’s local businesses will also be offering holiday specials over the coming weeks, making it the perfect time to support local and check off your gift list.
Explore the Town Center
The Town Center is lined with shops, cafés and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy dinner with friends before the lights come on or browse for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts along the way.
Be sure to stop by the Ave Maria Welcome Center in the Town Center, which will stay open later on weekend nights during Knights of Lights. Our friendly team can share what’s happening around town and help you picture life in Ave Maria. While you’re here, explore our neighborhoods and visit the sales centers for premier builders Pulte, Lennar, CC Homes and Del Webb. See all communities to plan your stops.
Knights of Lights is about more than the lights. It’s a chance to gather with neighbors, support the charitable work of the Knights of Columbus and share the joy of Christmas.
