Camps & Activities Coming This Summer to Ave Maria
As the school year winds down and summer approaches, families in Ave Maria are gearing up for a season filled with enrichment. From sports to dance camps and splash zones, the community offers a dynamic lineup of summer activities.
For the youngest residents, ages 4 to 7, The Palm Preschool’s Summer Camp (June 8–July 31) will offer arts and crafts, hands-on science experiments, cooking activities, water play and team games. “Our camp offers a place where children build friendships, explore creativity and create lasting summer memories,” said director Stassie Cadogan.
Sports lovers can take to Olfos Sports Academy, which hosts soccer and rugby camps and tryouts throughout June. Designed for a range of ages and skill levels, the program focuses on teamwork, fitness and fun. “We want to give children the opportunity to play the games they love while making friends and enjoying the outdoors,” said academy founder Jose Olfos.
For those drawn to the arts, Ave Maria Dance Academy’s Summer Dance Intensive (July 6–31) offers classes in ballet, hip hop, jazz and more. The program encourages creativity while building confidence, discipline and lifelong friendships.
Meanwhile, The National Golf & Country Club invites young athletes to enjoy tennis, pickleball and bocce. “Our goal is to help kids learn sportsmanship and teamwork while having a great time,” said Racquet Sports Director Aly Dashiell.
Additional options include martial arts training at Ave Maria Jiu Jitsu and swim lessons, water aerobics and swim team programs at the Ave Maria Water Park; perfect for staying active and cool all summer long.
Whether exploring a new hobby or meeting new people along the way, Ave Maria offers a summer experience that’s as enriching as it is fun.
