In Ave Maria, small-town charm blends with the energy of a growing community, thanks to local business owners who put heart into everything they do. From remembering your coffee order at The Bean to asking about your grandkids at Salon d’ Maria, these merchants turn shopping into a personal connection.

“There’s something special about the people here,” said Daneé Williams, owner of The Secret Ingredient. “We live here, we care about our neighbors, and we want to make a lasting impression.” Williams’ boutique has been recognized by Gulfshore Life three consecutive years (2023-25) as Best Women’s Apparel in Collier County.
That spirit shows in the Town Center’s calendar of festive, business-organized events.
The summer began with Christmas in July, where storefronts transformed into tropical winter escapes. Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted families, shops offered specials, and visitors enjoyed treats, music and raffles.
Next is Trunk or Treat on October 25 from 3 to 6 p.m., where decorated golf carts and cars line the Town Center, handing out candy alongside Halloween activities, face painting and costume contests.

The year closes with Christmas Crawl Around the World on November 22, 3 to 8 p.m., featuring holiday traditions from different countries, themed treats, live music, dance performances, and sparkling lights. After the Thanksgiving holiday on November 28, merchants host their own version of Black Friday with special deals in a relaxed, friendly setting. Stella Rose Way, The Secret Ingredient and Way Out Toys & Games will team up for sales and activities.
Visitors often compare Ave Maria’s Town Center to stepping into a Hallmark movie where every storefront tells a story and every shopkeeper greets you like family.
