NEW OWNERS AND GRAND OPENING OF THE AVE MARIA DANCE ACADEMY
NAPLES, FL – October 27, 2023 – Ave Maria Development and the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce will be welcoming the new owners of the Ave Maria Dance Academy, Charl and Okkie Van Wyk, at a ribbon cutting ceremony. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ave Maria Dance Academy located at 5068 Annunciation Circle #103 Ave Maria, FL 34142.
“The Ave Maria Dance Academy has been providing a valuable service to the community since 2009 We are thrilled to see it continue its legacy and serve Ave Maria’s aspiring dancers,” shared Cee Cee Marinelli, director of development.
As residents of Ave Maria, the Van Wyk’s felt grateful to know this opportunity came up where they could share opportunities of dance with others. Their daughter, Adryan, has danced her entire life and is now on the Ave Maria University Dance Team. “Our daughter has benefited tremendously from dance. Our dancers will not only gain knowledge in various styles of dance, but they will also gain the confidence, dedication, and teamwork skills necessary for excellence in all areas of life,” shared Okkie Van Wyk.
The Ave Maria Dance Academy offers high-quality dance training for all ages. From mommy and me classes to adult classes and everything in between, the academy provides instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, pointe, theater jazz, and more.
