SUPPORT LOCAL THIS SUMMER WITH EVENTS IN AVE MARIA, FLORIDA
NAPLES, FL., – June 26, 2023 – Ave Maria, southwest Florida’s premier master planned community, announces plans to host summer merchant events including Christmas in July, Latin Festival, Small Business September and Trunk-or-Treat. All events are free and open to the public and will take place in the Town Center.
Christmas in July will be held on Saturday, July 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Ave Maria’s Town Center shops, restaurants and Publix retail stores are coming together to celebrate. The town will be filled with Christmas-themed décor, festive music, activities and entertainment, along with food, drinks and more! Visitors will receive a Bingo card to stamp at each participating boutique and restaurant for a chance to win a grand prize. Shopping and dining specials, live music by Jim Blackburn from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Christmas inspired face painting by Aven2ura for the kids.
The Latin Festival will be held on Saturday, August 19 to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The day will start off with an 11:00 a.m. golf cart parade in the Town Center. Attendees will enjoy live music by Harmony 2, family-friendly activities including face painting and balloon artistry, plus shopping incentives, ethnic cuisine, and drink specials.
Save the date for Small Business September, a month-long event to support local. Ave Maria’s local boutiques, eateries and services invite the public to “Shop Small Biz” for the entire month of September. Each week, the town businesses will feature different promotions on Facebook and Instagram @AveMariaFlorida. Additional entertainment and live music will be organized during “Small Business September.” More information to come.
The Annual Trunk-or-Treat will now be hosted the Ave Maria Town Center. Save the date for this 8th annual event sponsored by Oil Well Craft Beer, that will feature dozens of decorated trunks by Ave Maria residents and local businesses. Guests are encouraged to dress up in your favorite costume for this family-friendly event and bring a bucket or bag to trick-or-treat with. The event will feature music by DJ DiFlo, face painting, contests, dining and drink specials, and after-event celebrations at town businesses.
