AVE MARIA TO HOST ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS
NAPLES, FL., — September 27, 2016– Ave Maria announces it annual Celebration of Lights holiday event to be held on Friday, December 2nd from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The public is invited to join the fun in the outdoor winter wonderland including town parade, outdoor ice skating rink, 260 foot-long zip line, rock wall, spider mountain bungee and vertical climb, 35 foot-high fun slide, polar extreme obstacle course, festive food and beverages, photos with Santa, and live performances by local schools and organizations. Over 3,000 people are expected to attend.
Local schools participating in this year’s event include Ave Maria University, Cypress Palm Middle School, and Rhodora J. Donahue Academy, with more anticipated to confirm soon. Other event participants include Hot Flashz dancers, Cool Cruisers of SWFL, Ave Maria Dance Academy, and town merchants. “Celebration of Lights is our signature holiday event,” comments Cee Cee Marinelli, director of development for Ave Maria. “It’s a great kick-off to our calendar of events for the upcoming season attracting town residents and visitors from all over South Florida.”
