NCH Immediate Care Center, Sunshine Ace Hardware, Dunkin’, Ledo Pizza, and Cold Stone Creamery
in new 21,000 sq. ft. Commercial Plaza Under Development
NAPLES, FL., – August 14, 2023 – Ave Maria Development announces plans for a brand-new commercial plaza centrally located in the center of town at the corners of Ave Maria Blvd and Anthem Parkway, just one mile south of the Town Center. This 21,000 square foot center will be home to the NCH Immediate Care Center, Sunshine Ace Hardware, Dunkin’, LEDO Pizza, and Cold Stone Creamery. Construction has started with anticipated completion in summer 2024.
Year-to-date over 430 homes have been sold in the community. “Ave Maria’s residential growth has led to an increase in new businesses wanting to locate within the community,” said Cee Cee Marinelli, director of development for Ave Maria. “We have been working with national and local brands to bring a great mix of businesses and providers to Ave Maria residents.”
The NCH Immediate Care Center will offer on-site service capabilities ranging from treating minor cuts and colds to infections and physicals and will be staffed by board certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses who will be available during extended hours seven days a week. Once established in Ave Maria, NCH will evolve to meet residents’ needs, according to Erin Raney, Chief Administrative Officer of the NCH Physician Group. “As we grow, we’ll define what the community needs, whether it’s providing cardiology once or twice a month for residents or pediatrics for families.”
“For 65 years, Sunshine Ace Hardware has grown alongside the community, and as the population moves further inland from the coast, we will proudly join them,” said Sunshine Ace Hardware President Michael Wynn. The Ave Maria store will feature a comprehensive paint department, and grilling departments, in addition to a wide selection of power and hand tools, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, plumbing fixtures, propane, and more.
Dunkin’ is the world’s leading baked goods and coffee chain, offering over 50+ varieties of donuts and dozens of premium beverages, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and other baked goods. “We look forward to bringing our Dunkin’ favorites to the Ave Maria community. The store will be 1840 sq. ft. and will have a convenient drive thru and expanded outdoor patio,” said Michael Koroghlian, the local Dunkin’ franchisee.
Since 1955, LEDO Pizza has been crafting rolled to order, fresh handmade pizzas with high-quality ingredients. Scott Taggart and his wife Colleen have owned and operated Ledo Pizza for the past 25 years in Maryland and are looking forward to relocating to Ave Maria. “We are excited to move to Ave Maria and open a new pizzeria in town. We know the town is growing and we want to grow with it,” said Scott Taggart, franchise owner of LEDO Pizza of Ave Maria. “One of my main goals is to continue giving back to my community and providing leadership opportunities to youth wanting to be in this type of business,” he said.
For over 30 years, Coldstone Creamery has been serving ice cream, cakes, smoothies and shakes using only the highest quality ingredients, and a signature process of preparing a custom ice cream creation on a frozen granite stone. “The new Ave Maria store will be 1,200 sq. ft. and will feature indoor and outdoor seating. We look forward to serving our delicious menu to the community,” shared Shadae and Dwight Walker.
